Layla is the Principal of Brookfield Music which she founded in 1996.
Her philosophy for students is to develop a lifelong love of music. Students of all ages and abilities are welcome in her studio.
Julie’s passion for music has been lifelong and she enjoys all genres of piano music. Julie has taught many students from primary through to the high school years.
Julie teaches up to grade 8 AMEB piano, and voice. Read More
Janice’s passion for music has been going since high school she completed examinations in recorder and theory.
Janice plays flute, sopranino, descant and treble recorder, along with piano. Read More
Kurt has been formally studying guitar for ten years and is one of Layla’s star pupils.
He is studying senior music at high school and is currently on a music scholarship at Brisbane Boys’ College. Read More
Noah has been studying guitar for eight years and graduated from the IB music and music XLR8 programs at Indooroopilly State High School. He is studying for his degree at UQ. Noah also teaches bass guitar, violin, voice and piano. Read More
Evan has been raised in a music school, making music part of his being. As the principal’s son, Evan started learning piano and guitar at a very early age. He has lived in Paris for three years and travelled through Europe.
Ernie is a trained emotional support dog who can sit in on special needs students' lessons.
Adrian is a Chartered Accountant and has over 20 years experience in taxation and small business advice.
