Layla
Layla is the Principal of Brookfield Music which she founded in 1996.
Her philosophy for students is to develop a lifelong love of music. Students of all ages and abilities are welcome in her studio.

Julie’s passion for music has been lifelong and she enjoys all genres of piano music. Julie has taught many students from primary through to the high school years.

Jasmine is an accomplished pianist, accompanist, teacher of piano and clarinet, and a choral arranger.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Music from the Queensland Conservatorium, a Graduate Diploma in Music Education and a Masters of Speech Pathology. Read More

Kurt has been formally studying guitar for ten years and is one of Layla’s star pupils.
He is studying senior music at high school and is currently on a music scholarship at Brisbane Boys’ College. Read More

Noah has been studying guitar for eight years and graduated from the IB music and music XLR8 programs at Indooroopilly State High School. He is studying for his degree at UQ. Noah also teaches bass guitar, violin, voice and piano. Read More

Evan has been raised in a music school, making music part of his being. As the principal’s son, Evan started learning piano and guitar at a very early age. He has lived in Paris for three years and travelled through Europe.
