Violin and Viola
Orsolya was born in Hungary and started playing the violin at the age of six. Her commitment to music is due to the Kodály method, which guided her musical studies.
The intensive and enjoyable musical education clearly steered her towards a career in music.
From the age of fourteen she played in various string and symphony orchestras. For six years she was a member of the Budapest Operetta Theatre Orchestra, with which she toured Europe and Japan.
Orsolya taught violin and chamber music in a music school for over twenty years. For seventeen years, she was the leader of the string orchestra, with which she participated in numerous competitions and trips abroad.
Three years ago, Orsolya moved with her family to Australia, where she intends to continue her mission of dedicated transmission of European classical music.
She is an active and passionate orchestral musician and an enthusiastic music teacher. In her violin lessons she always strives to adapt the learning process to the needs and abilities of her students. Her ultimate goal is to help her students discover the joy of music through violin playing.
Orsolya is a member of the Brisbane City Pops Orchestra.
