We believe the clarinet is a highly expressive instrument with a rich tone and wide range, and our teachers are passionate about making lessons enjoyable while building strong musical foundations.
At Brookfield Music, our clarinet program caters to students of all ages and ability levels, from beginners to advanced players.
Lessons can cover classical repertoire, ensemble and band playing, or contemporary styles.
Students may learn on B♭ clarinet or bass clarinet, with a focus on tone production, finger technique, articulation, breath control and musical confidence.
Meet Taylor, our Saxophone teacher
Taylor has studied at Kenmore State High School, has a degree in music performance from Queensland Conservatorium of Music and a Masters of Secondary Education from Griffith University.
Taylor has taught instrumental and classroom music in various private and state schools for the last 3 years. Taylor has been in multiple concert bands including the Queensland Youth Orchestra Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony, South East Queensland Winds, and currently in the Brisbane Municipal Concert Band.
